You can probably find or negotiate vegan options almost anywhere. We favor establishments that make an effort to offer at least one or two vegan (not vegetarian) options.
Some “healthy” food establishments may use animal-derived ingredients like bee pollen, honey, lard, eggs, whey, bone broth, L-cysteine, beef tallow, rennet, and fish stock in smoothies, bread, dough or sauces. If you’re not sure, ask.
