Community involvement is not for everyone, but if you want to work with kindred spirits, learn and give something back, volunteering may be for you. Here are some vegan-friendly volunteer opportunities on Maui.

MAUI CHILIS ON WHEELS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

The Chilis on Wheels - Maui team has been feeding our houseless community hand-delivered and homemade vegan meals every Thursday and Sunday in Kahului for over a year now. There is a vegan family of four who stay on Pāpalaua Beach on the west side who could use some solid meals once a week. Chilis also needs for a hot plate for a friend who moved into a home without a kitchen.

A new volunteer training will be held the first week of July.  If you are interested in making food for west side family or supporting efforts in Kahului. Please email Nicole at maui@chilisonwheels.org or call her at 866-4811 if you are interested.
